Look, I made my reservation after reading the reviews. Here are the facts. The staff at the front desk was rude. They wanted to put me in a smoking room when I reserved one without. The upper floors are not air conditioned (it had to be 90+ in the halls)! What is up with that. The beds were nice, but the bathroom felt like you were crammed in like sardines. It was not clean in the hallways etc. This is not a 4 star hotel. Maybe 2-21/2. You will know by just walking in. Also, they don't give you a choice on a king, queen or full size beds. We got two full-size beds and who wants that on a weekend with your sweetheart? They have a policy at the hotel (on the phone) "you want it you got it". Yet our air conditioner was so loud that it kept us up both nights and they didn't fix it. Not a happy stay. Not to mention you've got to use your room key to go up and down, yes that's right, down the elevator and people forget their room keys so they bum rides! Not sure what they were thinking. And, the hotel is at the end of the Nashville airport runway! Save your time, money and trouble and go elsewhere! Had I known all of this, I wouldn't have stayed here.

Overall a great hotel experience, but I have to say that $* for 24 hours of Internet is a rip off, its 2010 and free at McDonalds. The rooms are clean and the bedding and pillows superb.

Walls are paper thin you can hear everything, everytime a door down the hall closes, I'm serious. Not enought towels in room, we called down to a very rude front desk representative who sounded like we greatly inconvienced him. We didn't have glasses in room after it was cleaned. Front desk would not bring us any! If you look on the hotel's website one of their claims is that there is a "you want it you got it" button in every room...first of all there is NO button in the room, no ipod player, no fish, or cookies and milk, or shuttle..you might as well just not even look at the web site because whatever they promise I assure you will not get during your stay. Terrible customer service was the only thing that was a constant at the Hotel Preston. Don't do it....save your money your better off at some run of the mill chain hotel atleast you'll get free breakfast.

the stay was wonderfull. The only thing was that the front end staff were very rude when we checked in. Then the following day we needed some extra towels and they said that it would be 30 mins before we would get any.
